Privacy policy

Medcity NCLEX (https://nclex.medcitylms.in) is run by Medcity International Academy ("Medcity", "we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and, if you give them, your phone number, country and planned exam date.
- Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access your other Google data.
- Study activity: the questions you answer, your answers, time taken, scores, notes and flashcards, so we can show your progress and adapt practice to you.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type, kept with your sign-in session for security.
- Payments (when available): handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment, not your full card details.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To run practice tests, adapt questions to your level, and show your performance and readiness.
- To improve our questions using answer statistics across all students, in aggregated form.
- To contact you about your account, your course and exam preparation, including by WhatsApp if you give us your number.
- If you are a Medcity student, to share your progress with your Medcity branch and faculty.
AI features
Some features, such as the tutor and question review, use artificial intelligence services. When you use them, the relevant question and your message are sent to the AI provider to produce an answer. We do not send your name or contact details for this.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, database, email, AI and payment providers), with Medcity staff who support you, and where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active, and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable time after you ask us to close your account, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices
- You can update your details on the Account page at any time.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing medcitylms@miak.in.
Security
Passwords are stored in hashed form, connections use HTTPS, and access to student data is limited by role.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you on the site when the change is significant.
